Every parent deserves to know how well their child’s school is doing at providing students with a quality education. Ohio should:
provide parents with school report cards that include an easy-to-understand "A – F" grading system that allows parents to compare schools across their community;
make sure that the grading system is based in large part on objective measures of student learning;
use high standards so that schools receiving the highest ratings are doing an excellent job of preparing students for college and the workforce.
