Praised Teacher of 11 years Christine Simo Let Go Due to “Last in First Out”
After nine years of teaching in Florida, Mrs. Christine Simo moved to Nevada to teach first grade. Dr. Tim Kitts, Principal of Bayhaven Charter Academy states that "Some people are born to teach" and that Mrs. Simo "is that person".
With praise from principals, students, parents, and with National Board Certification Christine, now a 11 year teaching veteran, was let go based on the "last in first out" layoff policy. Where the last teacher hired is the first teacher fired.
